Girls Empowerment Day
February | 2026
ASFAP hosted a Girls Empowerment Day in collaboration with Bras for Girls and Mother Africa to celebrate and support young women during Black History Month. Girls ages 10 to 18 participated in a panel discussion, goal setting activity, and empowerment pledge focused on confidence and leadership.

Through the partnership with Bras for Girls, each participant also received a free sports bra and educational resources to support continued participation in sports. The event concluded with a community iftar, bringing families and participants together in a meaningful celebration of empowerment and community.

Valentines Day Soccer Showcase
February | 2026
As part of our ongoing Saturday Soccer Camp, ASFAP celebrated Valentine’s Day by surprising every participant with a special goodie bag after practice.

What started as a normal training session turned into a meaningful moment of appreciation. We believe sports should build skill, confidence, and community. Small gestures like this remind our players that they are valued both on and off the field.
ASFAP Youth Tournament Potluck
November | 2025
ASFAP hosted its first official Youth League Celebration at New Holly Gathering Hall, bringing together over 100 players, families, coaches, and community leaders. The event featured guest speakers, a cultural performance, awards, and a night of unity that recognized every child’s growth throughout the season.
Hiking Day
August | 2025
ASFAP took youth out for a nature-filled fay at saltwater state park to promote wellness, environmental awareness, and community bonding. We are more than just a soccer club, we're committed to helping youth connect with the world around them, stay active, and embrace new experiences beyond the field.
